Our trip to Santa Fe was about 50% fiasco, but I'm going to choose to remember the 50% that was fun.
On our way! At ABQ airport.
Outside Loretto Chapel.
The Rosary Tree
Chapel Windows
The miraculous staircase
Max and Grace looking at the rosary tree
Dinner at Geronimo
Stuck in traffic on the way to Ski Santa Fe. At least the scenery is lovely.
After
3 days of ski lessons, Max is riding like a champ! And more important,
he loved it. He shows up at about 16 seconds in - the tiny guy in the
black pants and turquoise jacket.
Worn out after ski lessons
Grace loved the Santa decorations in our rental house.
Sculptures on the plaza
At Ten Thousand Waves spa - always my favorite part of a Santa Fe visit.
Delighted that Max loved it too. He said it tied with skiing for his
favorite part of the trip.
Nutcracker Marionettes & Paddle Boats on Echo Park Lake
The Bob Baker marionettes theater performed the Nutcracker this year. We were joined by WUMP family friends Connie (& Christine) and Colin (& Wendy & Ivan) along with Grace'd buddy Matthew.
After the show, we went over to Echo Park Lake for lunch and paddle boating.
